New Church Stained Glass Project: St. Edward’s

We’re proud to announce the completion of our recent successful church stained glass project for St. Edward’s Church. Located in Pennsylvania, the church sought to find a company to create a memorial piece for their pastor that had passed away. They wanted to create a large panel to replace their existing window in the observatory that looked over the main street so they could hide the street view during service. After contacting many companies, they decided to go with us for their project.

The Church Stained Glass Manufacturing Process for St. Edward’s

Due to the pandemic, we had to do our design review process online and electronically. We presented a variety of different tree of life designs for the church to review. During this design finalization process, Father Rick said that someday he’d like to create a second design that depicted his favorite Bible teaching – Jesus on the Sea of Galilee. Our artist decided to draft up this design for review and both the church and Father fell in love. They decided to go with this new design and had the project funded by donors. We wanted to add depth and dimension to the piece and did so through painting and shading. We also wanted to add diversity among the figures shown along with calm seas as a metaphor for the calm after the storm. Even though we experiences some installation challenges, we were able to design the perfect cohesive panel.
