Church stained glass was originally designed to tell a story, back in the middle ages when many of the worshippers could not read. It frequently depicted scenes from the bible or saints and religious icons. Many of these incredible master works are still intact today, still adding a level of inspirational beauty to the church-going experience for hundreds of thousands of people, over time.

But many of today’s churches have changed with the times. They still want to honor the ancient tradition of church stained glass, but with more modern designs that reflect the sensibilities of their congregations, and match their more modern architecture.

Stained Glass Denver works with each and every client individually. We will meet with you and help you choose the perfect custom designed stained glass windows for your church, cathedral, rectory, temple, sanctuary, or any other kind of house of worship. Our process is tailored to each client’s needs. To help create the perfect design, you’ll tell us your ideas, look at photos or samples, and wind up with a sketch of the final idea.

After the design is set, we’ll create the pattern for it using our CAD technology. Then, the pattern goes to one of our experienced church stained glass builders, who will cut each piece of glass and assemble them by hand.

Whether you are looking for the traditional, vividly colored stained glass windows that tell an important religious story or message, or something wholly nontraditional, we will design it, build it, and install it. And you and your parishioners will enjoy it for generations to come.

For over thirty years, Martin has been running his company in Denver using the techniques he learned as a stained glass artisan in Scotland. He has devoted his life's work to perfecting the art form and studying its history. Martin's company specializes in custom creations, which are made using the highest quality materials and authentic, original designs. In addition to residential and commercial stained glass, the company also offers services for churches and religious buildings. Over the years, Stained Glass Denver has completed numerous restorations of historic stained glass and produced over 50,000 windows.
